People’s Assembly Scotland

A broad united national campaign against austerity

0.0/5 rating (0 votes)

It's amazing how many partnerships begin with individual relationships.

A colleague who once worked for COPE connected us with The People's Assembly Scotland which enabled us to have a local screening of the film I Daniel Blake.

Attended by many residents, this event made us question what was it we really did at COPE Scotland to help tackle inequality? We decided to make our campaign for 2017 be around the additional challenges of inequality on self-managing long-term conditions.

This has influenced much of our work and partnerships, including the guide to sanctions booklet.
