The impact of gambling harms on individuals and families is significant and often hidden.
People may not know where to go for help or even feel comfortable asking for support when they find it.
We can all play a part in helping reduce gambling harms.
The following booklet shares some of the work being done by partners, communities, and the voices of lived experience and sharing some resources and tips that may be helpful for someone affected by gambling harms.
It can act as a tool for creating space to explore what your group, community, and organisation see as the pieces needed to reduce the impact of gambling harms and the qualities that could help us all be leaders in championing the cause of reducing gambling harms.
There are many reasons which can lead someone to be harmed by gambling, and there require many actions on many levels to reduce risk. However, we can all play a part in helping in the many roles we have in our lives; from a friend, relative, policymaker…………together, we can be the change.
